Patricia L. Hopewell, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, January 10, 2026. Patty was born on June 23, 1928, in Washington, Indiana, to Susie (Colbert) Webber and Donald E. Webber. She spent her working years as an office manager for Superior Steel Ball, where she was known for her dedication, organization, and strong work ethic. A woman of deep faith, Patty was a longtime and faithful member of Central Christian Church. Her faith guided her throughout her life and was evident in the kindness and love she shared with those around her. Patty cherished her family above all else. She leaves behind her three children: Robert M. (Llora) Wonder of Chicago, Illinois; Mary Sue (Frank) Bowling of Washington, Indiana; and David A. (Carol) Wonder of San Jose, California. She was a proud and loving grandmother to five grandchildren: Austin R. Wonder; Sarah (Brent) Driller; Eli (Jessica) Bowling; Melissa (David) Cronin; and Kelsey VanSambeek. Patty's kindness touched everyone she met. Her legacy of faith, love, kindness, and inner strength will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Funeral service will be on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1:00pm at Ed L. Lee Mortuary with Chaplain Barry Groh officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am - 1:00pm Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery Ed L. Lee Mortuary is honored to be entrusted with the services for Patricia L. Hopewell.
