Cynthia Block

Cynthia Sue Hennigar-Block ( Spangler ) 66, born October 18th 1958 passed away on October 10th 2025 surrounded by family. Cynthia was born in Clarion, Iowa and raised in Eagle Grove, Iowa to Edward and Dolores Spangler where she attended Eagle Grove Schools. Cindy was united in Marriage to Al Hennigar, which shared three children together. They later divorced but remained friends over the years. Cindy moved to a farm outside of Livermore Iowa where she made her home for over 30 years. She was united in Marriage to Greg Block before his passing in February 2019. Cindy loved going on the motorcycle with Greg and being a part of ABATE of Iowa. She took great pride in her garden every year and spent a lot of time watching her horses roam in the pasture. In early years she worked for Rockwell International Space Division in Cedar Rapids Iowa. After moving back home, she was a caregiver for handicap, worked at Humboldt Care Center North before their closing and went to Humboldt Hospital until becoming ill and moving to Clarion in 2021. dy is survived by her brother Danny ( Theresa ) Spangler, children:Shayne ( Amy ) Hennigar of Clarion, Mike (Kellie) Hennigar of Eagle Grove, and Dan (Danielle) Hennigar of Clarion, stepchildren Justin Block and Deanna Block. Grandchildren: Austin, Jordan,Mikayla, Brady, Dylan, Lance, Brenndan, Cole, Rylie,and Eathan. Step grandchildren: Samantha, Quinn, Emily, and Justice. Extra grandkids Nicole and Amber with their children: 6 great grandchildren, numerous other family members and close friends. Proceeded in death by her parents, husband Greg, brother Al and granddaughter Tabitha. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday October 24th 2025 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove Iowa
