During her lifetime, Bernetta mourned the passing of her parents, Bertha and Rudolph Buerck; her husband, Linus "Sonny" Buchheit; grandson, Nicholas Rainey; sister, Birdella Schnurbusch; brothers: Glennon Buerck, Rudy Buerck and Tom Buerck; and son-in-law, Kent Kassel. Visitation for Bernetta Buchheit will be held at 9:00-10: 50 am, Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 315 NE 3rd Street, Washington, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Bernetta Buchheit immediately following the visitation and will begin at 11:00 am, October 8, 2025, also at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Father Paul Ferguson will be the celebrant and he will be assisted by Nathanial Rainey. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery.
