Angela J. Wilhelmi - Jenkinson

Angela Jean (Wilhelmi) Jenkinson, 57, of Auburn, CA, died May 17, 2020, in Auburn, CA. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Oakcrest Funeral Services of Bancroft with Father Steven McLoud officiating. Angela was born December 9, 1962, in Sacramento, CA, daughter of Bob and Ruth (Boyken) Wilhelmi. She grew up in the Sacramento area graduating from El Camino High School. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing softball. Angela was an accomplished violinist and she enjoyed going to concerts. She loved being outdoors especially hiking through the mountains. She also enjoyed rock collecting and poetry and proudly had five of her poems published. Angela moved from California to Bancroft in 1987 and several years later she returned to the Auburn, California. She is survived by her mom, Ruth Boyken of Titonka; her brother, Tony Wilhelmi of Bancroft; and nieces and nephews, Chandler, Tucker, Braeden, and McKenna. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Wilhelmi; and her step-father, Hans-Georg Boyken. [more]
