Marco John Wilkerson
Marco John Wilkerson, age 57, passed away on July 6th, 2020 at his residence in Phoenix, AZ. He was cremated on July 17th, 2020. Marco was born on October 15, 1962 in Twin Falls, ID. He was the son of Lloyd Wilkerson and Rosilyn Rader. Marco grew up in Boise, ID, and graduated from Capital High School in 1980. In 1985, he graduated from Boise State University (Go Broncos!) with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Marco and his ex-wife Sandy Wilkerson moved to Phoenix in 1985. Marco began his insurance sales career specializing in Employee Benefits with Principal Financial Group for 14 years. He continued his 35-year insurance sales career working with Eaton & Associates and Eaton-Provident Group where he managed the Employee Benefits Division. Marco was a member of the Boise Rescue Mission, Shiloh Community Church, Men's Art Council, Celebrate Recovery, AA, and AAA. Marco enjoyed fishing, water skiing, riding ATV's, shooting guns, racquet ball, golf, walking his dog Remington, and watching football and NASCAR. Marco was a beloved father, son, and friend to many. family as the "life of the party". Marco is survived by his two son's Conrad Wilkerson and Chandler Wilkerson, mother Rosilyn Rader, siblings Tammy Siverson, Tony Wilkerson, and Kerry Smith. Extended family ex-spouse Sandy Wilkerson, Richard Lee Sr., Cheryl & Steven Hainey, Richard Lee Jr., Charles P. Schwerd, Charles W. Schwerd, and Julie Schwerd. He was predeceased by Lloyd Wilkerson, Alice & Newel Knight, Nola Lee, and Veda Schwerd. Marco's Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday August 22, 2020 at 10am at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary located at 6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
