Marion J. Weyhrauch

Marion J. Weyhrauch, 92, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Friendship Village. She was born April 22, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN, the youngest daughter of Iver and Esther Spurrell Loe.  She married Dr. Robert A. Weyhrauch on October 4, 1947 in Cokato, MN. Marion was raised in Buffalo and Cokato, MN, graduating from Cokato High School in 1944.  She was a registered nurse graduating from Saint Barnabus School of Nursing in 1947. Marion served the community in many volunteer roles.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Waterloo where she taught Sunday School, the Bethel Bible study class and was a long-standing member of the Priscilla Women's Circle. Marion was also a member of the PEO sisterhood Chapter IX serving as chaplain and chapter president.  She was also a member of the Blackhawk County and Iowa State Medical Auxiliaries, serving as president of both organizations.
